UC Davis Civil and Environmental Engineering professors and ITS researchers John Harvey and Somayeh Nassiri were invited to participate in a first-of-its-kind Concrete Innovation Summit at the White House on July 19. The summit highlighted progress to reduce emissions, accelerate commercialization of new clean technologies, and build the momentum of increasing customer demand for higher performance and lower emission products. Harvey and Nassiri were asked to discuss their Lab2Slab2Standard Practice initiative.
