Bio
Dr. Ali A. Butt is a project scientist working at the UCPRC, where his research focuses primarily on sustainable transport infrastructures. He is the project manager and researcher on several state and federally funded projects; some research topics include life cycle assessment (environmental and social), urban metabolism, complete streets, and pavement-vehicle interaction. Dr. Butt serves as an advisory board member of the Pavement Life Cycle Management project funded by the Conference of European Road Directors. He also serves as a reviewer for several prestigious journals. Research and teaching are his passions.
