Changmo Kim

Dr. Changmo Kim is an associate project scientist and project manager at the UCPRC, affiliated with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at UC Davis. He has over 20 years of experience leading research projects on life-cycle cost analysis (LCCA) for transportation infrastructure in California. He developed the California-customized LCCA software, RealCost CA versions, and co-authored the Caltrans LCCA procedure manual. He has also trained Caltrans engineers in LCCA implementation and provided ongoing support. His research interests include transportation operations, infrastructure maintenance, alternative fuel vehicles (such as ZEVs, EVs, AVs, and HFCVs), intelligent transportation systems, and work zone traffic management. Dr. Kim has published over 30 papers in peer-reviewed international journals, including the Transportation Research Record and the ASCE Journal of Transportation Infrastructure and Construction Management.
